Functions
The B1-S6750-48HX8CQM-AC provides high-speed switching and traffic forwarding for large-scale data center, cloud, enterprise, and carrier network environments. Its 48 × 25GbE SFP28 interfaces enable high-density server and storage connectivity, while 8 × 100GbE QSFP28 interfaces provide high-capacity uplinks for backbone, aggregation, leaf-spine, and inter-switch connections.
The switch can function as a Top-of-Rack (ToR) switch, providing high-speed server access within individual racks, or as a leaf switch connecting server racks to the data center spine layer. Its high-bandwidth 100GbE interfaces also make it suitable for spine and aggregation roles in scalable network architectures.
With up to 4 Tbps switching capacity and 2,800 Mpps forwarding performance, the platform is designed to process large volumes of network traffic while supporting low-latency communication for cloud computing, virtualization, storage, video, and other bandwidth-intensive applications.
The system provides extensive Layer 2 and Layer 3 forwarding resources, including large MAC address tables, IPv4/IPv6 routing entries, ECMP resources, multicast groups, VLAN domains, traffic classification, OAM, and spanning tree capabilities for scalable and resilient network design.
ONIE support enables flexible deployment of compatible network operating systems and simplifies automated installation in open networking environments. Redundant hot-swappable power and cooling modules improve service continuity and allow maintenance with reduced operational disruption.
